Rolling machines

Metal rolling
Rolling is a metal forming process that helps to reduce the thickness of the metal and make the thickness uniform. To reduce the material, the processed metal is passed through a pair of one or more rolls. Pairs of rolls are kept on stands that are assembled into roll mills that easily process the metal. In general, steel can be rolled into a variety of products such as structural steel (I-beams, angle bars, channel bars), bar stock, and rails.

Rolling methods are classified according to the temperature of the metal being rolled. It is hot rolling when the temperature of the metal is above its recrystallization temperature. However, the process is called cold rolling if the temperature of the metal remains below the recrystallization temperature.

Applications of hot rolling are mainly the production of sheet metal or simple cross-sections such as rails. Common uses for hot rolled metal include truck frames, pipes, automobile clutch plates, wheels and rims, water heaters, agricultural equipment, belts, railcar components, guardrails, doors, and shelf discs.

Cold rolled steel applications include metal furniture, filing cabinets, desks, tables, chairs, motorcycle exhaust pipes, computer cases and hardware, home appliances and their components, steel drums, pipes, hinges, lighting fixtures, shelves, water heaters, metal containers, fan blades, pans, electronic cabinets, lawn mowers, construction related products etc.
Rollers of Durma
Durma has a long experience in the production of rolls. Since the company manufactures all the parts itself, the quality of the equipment is maximally high, and long-term experience has made the equipment popular all over the world. 3- and 4-roll rolling presses have very good parameters, they have a width of up to 4.1 m and a maximum sheet thickness of 200 mm. The 4-roll bench also has the possibility of NC and CNC control.

Both 3-roll and 4-roll rollers have a strong construction that ensures accuracy and quality. In addition, the design gives the bench a long life and lower maintenance costs.

4-roll rolling mills are more accurate, faster and more productive. The high-torque control system enables the HRB to achieve shorter cycle times. User-friendly controls allow less dependence on the operator’s competence.

Durma is the world’s leading machine manufacturer and also the world market leader for metalworking machines. The Durma product range covers all the most important areas of metal processing: bending, cutting, stamping and processing of profile materials.

Durma exports its products to 82 countries worldwide. The area of the company’s factory premises covers 150,000 square meters and the company employs more than 1,000 employees. Durma works consistently to achieve the highest standards of metalworking equipment.
